DH's crazy name ideas

Which are OK and which should be dismissed... I've lost all sense of perspective. There a couple of I reckon.

April
Emily
Rose/Rosie/Rosanna
Matilda

George
Jonah
Felix
Dorian
Ezra

Does anyone else have any slightly crazy suggestions from their DH?

My dh suggested a lot worse. And so did I to be honest.

The only one I really don't like on your list is Dorian. The others wouldn't be my choice but I think they're fine.

My ex H was very keen on the name Lancelot! I like Matilda and Felix from your list

I love Felix. My dh came out with much worse.

Ah, I'm relieved they're not too 'out there' - like I said, I've lost all perspective!

Dorian comes not from Wilde but from Scrubs, of all places.

Dorian isn't quite masculine enough for my taste.

I like them all, we have used one of the girls ones! Not so sure about Dorian but it's ok...

That's not crazy. Those are names in my kids classes. All ok. Some better than others.

The are all fine except April. She will be called Ape for the rest of her life.

Felix = cat food
Dorian = wrinkled picture in the attic

Ezra is very unusual but I like it the more I say it :)

Dirian is awful.

Other than that, all very nice and not at all bonkers.

They arenot crazy at all - just normal names. Except Dorian.

I like them all (except Dorian). You are very lucky your DH came up with a list - mine has been totally useless in this department!!!!

Dorian and Ezra are fairlyt uncommmon, i'll give tou that, but the rest are all very popular at the moment

April,Ezra and Dorian are awful imo. Jonah is not my cup of tea either, but the rest are OK. Love Matilda and Rosanna.

It could be a trick.

My DH refused - point blank refused - to discuss names properly with me both times.

Nightly I would suggest twenty-five names. He'd say "no" to every single one.

Every now and again he would suprise me by suggesting a name, only the the name would be Nigel or Linda or Deborah or something and he'd wander off snickering at my bemused expression.

When DS and DD were born and I was off my face on sleep-deprivation and morphine in the delivery room, he said, "what about SensibleName?"

I was so gobsmacked that he'd (a)suggested a name and (b)it wasn't Brenda or Roger, I immediately said "yes, ok". At which point he texted the world to announce the name.

The fucker.

Oh, but Jonah is nice. Pick Jonah.

I went to uni with a Dorian (female)

Better than my DH suggestions.

Roxy and Lexi were his choice, i hated them, no offence to anyone who used them.

Hee hee, my DD is called Emily Rose so I think they are pretty normal names...

I have been scarred by Lexi after hearing a mum in my local chippy shout at her DD "Stop doing that Rolex!" I kid you not, and now my DS is in the same class as dear 'Lexie' at school!

DP likes Ezra, I like all the girls names.
