Oh dear. I thought it was cute sounding for a baby, and sophistiated for an adult, as its a name that some royals have. I will never have a name

I liked Tiana and Tianna but everyone said they were chav,so thought this was a better version, but no dont usually like Russian names.

I liked Sienna but there are loads round here. I also liked Tallulah but everyone says its too much of a prostitute name.

I like Anneliese, but not sure if its too fussy

I like Tallulah and don't think it's a prostitute name at all. I know a little Tallulah and it suits her perfectly.

YAY!!!!!

It's DD's 3rd name, purely because I didn't have the guts to use it as her first name, but DH and I both love it.

DS2 can only say tatty-banana, though, Hmm

I also liked Tallulah, Saskia, Annelise, and Anastsia (every time I mentioned it DH sang "I'm all out of love" in a stupid way), Electra(DH said porn star). In the end I went for Amelia, and regret it because it's so popular.

How about Annalise, and you can shorten it to Anna? I wish I had gone for Anna.

How about Florence or Alice? I love them too, but for different reasons had to rule them out.

yeah Im not so sure what the 'correct' spelling is of Anneliese/Annaliese/Annalise/Annelise is!

I like Tatiana and know two, one Russian and middle aged who is Tania for short, and one not Russian, who is known as 'Tate', aged 10.

I would never think prostitute or porn star.

Anneliese has many spellings, and all are acceptable afaik but avoid Annalies because it looks like 'Anna lies'. I like Annaliese.

Would you consider Anastasia? Pretty name, easy to shorten..

Tatiana is a classical Russian name. Sorry to the 1st poster -- not a hooker, but a name that a lot of upper class / nobility had in the old days. Tastes differ. Personally, not my favorite, but is a nice name...
