Francesca?

DH is adamant that our DD will be called Francesca. Are we spelling it right? (and by right, I mean conventionally)

Other names I like are :-
Brianna
Esme
Katy Scarlett (these are a double act!)

Please be honest and brutal if you think these are a bit wanky.
It's late and i'm a bit tired but I can take it!

I'm due in two weeks and my DP is also adament on calling her Francesca.

I think it's a lovely name

Thank you. I do love Francesca, would probably end up shortening it to Frankie.
Figures Scarlett a bit wanky - I wanted to go all Gone With The Wind but I live in devon - not quite the Deep South!

Francesca is lovely. Very classy and elegant!

I prefer Frances to Francesca, but love the nn Fran or Franny, not Frankie so much.

Brianna is just awful
Esme is dreadfully dull
Katy is lovely, and prefer the Katy spelling to Katie.

Francesca is OK, although I prefer Frances.

Katy is nice as nickname for Katherine.

Not keen on Brianna but how about Bryony?
