Already posted on this topic. My sister is expecting a girl soon. She was going to have sarah as a middle name but decided that this didn't really go with anything - her words not mine. the middle name is now Elizabeth.

Opinions please on:
Rosa Elizabeth
Beatrice Elizabeth
Anna Elizabeth
Josephine Elizabeth
Florence Elizabeth (may be shortened to Flora but thinks Florence would be best as a full name because of the margarine issue)

These are all lovely. Sorry, that's probably not much help. At a push, my least favourites are Rosa and Florence (although I do love Flora), but they're all great names. Anna is probably the most classic / timeless.

I knew of someone with a Flora and an Olivia Hmm.

My favourite is Josephine Elizabeth. For me Rosa and Anna don't sit so well with Elizabeth as they end is a vowel sound and Elizabeth starts with one.

thunderbird69 · 21/02/2011 13:12

What does her surname begin with?

EmmaBGoode · 21/02/2011 13:13

They are both margarines: Flora and Olivio.

MelinaM · 21/02/2011 13:27

My favourite is Josephine Elizabeth tooSmile Such a beautiful classic name! Beatrice Elizabeth would be my second choice. x

CharlieBoo · 21/02/2011 14:22

Oh Florence Elizabeth is gorgeous!!!

OliveMalay · 21/02/2011 15:31

flopsy1974 · 21/02/2011 18:38

What is the deal with Beatrice lately? I dont get it?!! Confused its a really horrible name - its an awful sound - say it out loud - its up there with Myrtle. NO!!

If Im honest I actually think Sarah Elizabeth would be the prettiest!! (Florence Elizabeth is lovely though

Florence I think, or Rose (instead of Rosa). Not keen on Josephine.

Wafflenose · 21/02/2011 20:34

I like Rosa or Anna best.

growing3rdbump · 21/02/2011 20:38

Anna Elizabeth. It's my sister's name and it flows really well.

Rhubarbgarden · 21/02/2011 20:42

I vote for Josephine

randomimposter · 21/02/2011 20:51

I think Rosanna Elizabeth flows well. (IMO Anna and Rosa a bit short, but together works well?)
OR
Josephine Elizabeth.

BelligerentGhoul · 21/02/2011 20:51

Florence Elizabeth is nicest imho.

triskaidekaphile · 25/02/2011 10:54

Rosa is a superb name. I would choose Rosa. Anna is good too. I would avoid Florence due to the Cameron connection. The others are a bit too formal sounding for me. Bea is a v cute nickname though.

Hatterbox · 25/02/2011 10:56

Josephine, Beatrice or Rosa for me.

Florence is uber-popular right now and is only going to get more popular.

Anna is lovely but not as nice as Josephine, Beatrice and Rosa.
