Does anyone know the meaning? It's Irish, and I think it's probably pronounced Breeg - but with Irish you can never be sure.

It's pronounced 'breedge' or 'Breej', with a soft 'j' sound, almost like 'sh'.

Beautiful name. No idea what it means, but could it be related to Bridget?
