It's beautiful.
There's an Iseult in DD1's class

DesertOrchid · 20/02/2011 12:51

I like it, but prefer Isolde.

OliveMalay · 20/02/2011 13:14

It's OK, but Isolde is very nice IMO :)

Galdem · 20/02/2011 13:16

It's quite nice. Had never considered it before. Better than Isolde, I think.

Underachieving · 20/02/2011 13:28

I don't like it. I just don't like the way it sounds. Perhaps I am reading it wrong but to me it's abrupt.

crazycatlady · 20/02/2011 13:33

How is it pronounced? Like assault but with an i? If so then I don't like it, but maybe I'm missing something in the pronunciation.

Galdem · 20/02/2011 13:36

the 's' is pronounced like a 'z' and the intonation is different, so it is more Iz-ult rather than ass-ult Grin

crazycatlady · 20/02/2011 13:45

Ah ok, got it. I'm not sold on it, mainly as I suspect there are a lot of dunces out there like me who can't work out how to say it.

blogan · 20/02/2011 13:48

Hi,

I'm not too keen, plus for the rest of her life she would be going' err it's spelt 'I-S-E-U-L-T' I had a really strange sirname so I know how annoying it can be, the countless times I wishes I was a Smith! :)

SnapFrakkleAndPop · 20/02/2011 13:56

I like but prefer Isolde.

weimy · 20/02/2011 14:10

I think it is beautiful!!!
