I don't like it myself. But then I like names like Eloise and Juliet just to put it in to context for you.

But actually it's a bit more than that. There's something a bit sexualised/slebby about it.

Saying that, if my parents had called me Tallulah I'd shorten it to Tal and life would go on I'm sure.

I know one and she is just gorgeous. Suits her. But then her siblings have unusual/fairly bohemian names too. She's mostly Lu or Lula though.

I know a Tallulah and she's cool, and cute, and takes no prisoners. Her name really suits her I think.

It's a great name. Tallulah Bankhead was an awesome woman (if not a role model) - great actress, great wit.

Tallulah is the chicken in the Maisy books. That's what the name makes me think of but then again, I do know of a 6-year-old whose middle name is Tallulah for precisely that reason...

The chicken in the Maisy books is a perfectly nice Tallulah though :)
