I've fallen in love with this name...my dh has a French surname and it sounds lovely with Jovie. Not too sure on middle names and my parents aren't too fond. What do you think?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

No. I'm a massive Bon jovi fan. My cat is called jovi.

Not fair on a child

You might get constant references to Bon Jovi.

I believe you certainly will!

Threelittleducks · 16/02/2011 12:02

Sorry, that was my first thought too.

Bon Jon.

My first thought was the character in Elf, not Bon Jovi!

I think it's a lovely name, personally - I doubt her contemporaries will have much of a knowledge of Bon Jovi tbh. Plus, the spelling distances it from the band.

BarbieLovesKen · 16/02/2011 12:52

Im really sorry but I dont like it at all.

Fleecy · 16/02/2011 12:58

Elf here too - never thought of Bon Jovi.

EauRouge · 16/02/2011 13:04

Bon Jovi. Or maybe 'by Jovie!' for the previous generation.

OADCB · 16/02/2011 13:06

Imps -Bon jovi have been around for about 25 years and probably will be for a few more yet!

Pancakeflipper · 16/02/2011 13:07

By Jov(i) ( might only work in a Yorkshire accent)

Imps7 · 16/02/2011 13:19

OADCB - I appreciate that, but I didn't ever have much knowledge of the bands that my parents listened to when I was growing up, and didn't really ever associate such bands with anything to do with me and my friends.

I missed Bon Jovi them in concert this year - hoping to see them at some point though!

ThatllDoPig · 16/02/2011 13:49

I quite like it!
