Kit for a boy? - 10 days old already!!

I put up a post recently about our Arlo / Eli dilemma. We now wonder if we should drop them both even though they are our favourite names because our other children are called Isla and Molly. Our latest thought as an alternative is Kit. We're feeling very stuck and a bit stressed as the days tick by and we still have no name!!!

kit is a brilliant name. (if it helps, ds2 didn't get named until the very last moment, we registered his birth on the final day possible, 7 weeks i think, and changed our minds several times in the car on the way there)

I love Kit.

My DH is a Kit, his birth name is Christopher, but it's rare to hear him called that.

I really like Kit too, it's unusual but not a 'silly' name, go for it

I like Kit would give him Christopher on his birth cert just so he could have the option of a long version when he's older but its a great name :)

Love Kit (would personallly put Christopher on birth cert, but that's me). Better than Arlo/Eli for me, and fits well with Isla & Molly. Congratulations

For me it is a girl's name because of the Kit Kitredge (? something similar) film . I would take Christopher which is a lovely name IMO and use Kit if you like it. I see you like shorter names.

My goodness...can't believe so many people have Kit on their DS list...!!!

ll I think Ei is the best as I have one but I also have a cousin named Kit, (23, male) he is just Kit not Christopher, so I love that too, and dont dislike Arlo, dd1 has a buddy named Arlo, whichever way you go your boy will have a brilliant name..imo
