edward christopher greet
joseph christopher greet
daniel christopher greet

Edward
Joseph
Matthew
Daniel

In that order!

Edward seems to be very popular at the moment!

Suggestions..

Luke
Thomas
James
Andrew (love this)
Anthony

Pterosaur · 16/02/2011 10:23

Daniel Christopher (though Alexander the Greet does have a curious appeal).

flopsy1974 · 16/02/2011 10:23

I'd go for Edward or Joseph. Both lovely names

PomonaTodd · 16/02/2011 10:24

I like all of them. Probably my favourites are Matthew or Daniel.
I also like William.

justmilkpleasenosugar · 16/02/2011 11:16

Edward....!!!!

If it wasn't DH's name DS would be Edward.

IMO you really can't beat the good old classic (kings and queens) names. Your Dad will be chuffed with Christopher as a middle name.

thereisalightanditnevergoesout · 16/02/2011 11:54

I love Joseph. I have one.

Then Edward.

Ragwort · 16/02/2011 11:57

I like Edward best (but initials ECG sound a bit medical Grin).

All lovely classic names in my opinion.

BarbieLovesKen · 16/02/2011 12:59

Oh I think Matthew Christopher is absolutely gorgeous. Pleaaaase use it - fabulous.

rachel1970 · 16/02/2011 13:17

I prefer Christopher as first name.

Christopher Edward Greet

The others are all quite overused and a little dull imo.

PorkChopSter · 16/02/2011 13:21

ECG are really cool initials Smile

Edward has the most nicknames. I'm in the same order as calaloo

HattiFattner · 16/02/2011 13:22

I have a Joseph and a Daniel. Both are fab names.

Bicnod · 16/02/2011 13:22

I like Matthew Christopher :)

tammytoby · 16/02/2011 13:25

Another vote for Christopher. Agree that it is a lovely name and not as overused as your other suggestions. I'd suggest Christopher Matthew.

supadupapupascupa · 16/02/2011 13:27

Daniel :)

flower38 · 16/02/2011 16:25

Edward
Daniel
Joseph
Matthew

Plonker · 16/02/2011 16:32

Edward
Joseph
Daniel
Matthew

in that order

DanJARMouse · 16/02/2011 16:34

I love them all, and all of them were on our short list.

I have a Daniel Smile

specialknickers · 16/02/2011 18:23

I LOVE all these names. I have a Luke and I think traditional names are the best, they'll never date and they'll never be embarrassing.

My favourite is Joseph though. Or Christopher. Or Daniel.

Hmmm, sorry. Not very helpful I know, but they're all great and you won't regret any of them!

mandy1978 · 16/02/2011 20:00

oh crikey sorry been away, my mu took me for a long walk to get the baby going!!

thanks so much for the lovely feedback, altho we are expecting to have a girl it is quite widely known i would like one so to come away from hospital without a boy name would make me think people would assume i wasnt happy.

which would obv be completely untrue at this point either would be a blessing!!!

my cousins little boy is luke and best friends james, i love both names!!! we only have boys in our family so it is ultra tricky to find one.

i like andy but it rhymes with mandy so vetoed that one as well...

alexander greet, i know i know. i just cant do it!!!! i love the name alexander but.....

ecg, i hadnt considered that, thanks foe the heads up!!!!

i love classic names, they arent for eveytone but i always think that kids are up against it all in life the least i can do is saddle them with a name that wont cause them embarassment!

right so am down to matthew christopher, joseph christopher or daniel christopher....

crikey going to have more of a think!!!

i read once that liam neesons boys are called michael and daniel and i just thought 'god they sound like such decent good names, very masculine!!'.

hmm, will rethink! thanks ladies

meant to add rachel dont worry about dullness, i quite like dull names, am not adventurous at all with names!!

thanks for your advice, dh not keen on christopher as a first name.

my dad has cancer few years ago, a horrible kind, and is very well now.. would like to kind of honour him in some way. and my mums middle name is mary..
all bases covered!

Good choice Mandy.

Btw would much rather have a "dull" name as someone said that a name which may get called chav/common/naff et etc etc.

jellybeans · 16/02/2011 23:35

Joseph

OliveMalay · 17/02/2011 00:27

Lovely names! :)

pilates · 17/02/2011 09:48

They are all nice, but Edward is my favourite.
