HI Eleya - why does it have to start with a D? Dara? I can't think of one either but I think that's because there aren't any nice boys names that begin with D that you haven't already dismissed. I take it you're after something quite unusual?

I LOVE the name Dickon, but don't think I could ever inflict it on a child!

I like
Daniel
David
Dylan
Duncan

I don't like
Damian/Damien (people I've known)
Donald (duck)
Derek (too old)

Eleya · 16/02/2011 00:06

It has to start with a D as this is a family tradition...

I quite like:
Dylan
and
Damian

but not as much as I want to...

Dylan is so far the best but I want something more unusual.

Dillon is a variation...

LadyWellian · 16/02/2011 00:11

Dashiell (as in Hammett, the author) - doubt that will make the top 100!

LadyWellian · 16/02/2011 00:12

Think Dante is great too.

thumbdabwitch · 16/02/2011 00:12

What about Devlin?

OliveMalay · 16/02/2011 00:14

How unusual do you want to go? Do you mind if many people won't have heard of the name before?

Go to an American baby name finder and you'll be able to add a load more to the lists.

SameOldJollster · 16/02/2011 10:32

I really like Donovan.

twolittlemonkeys · 16/02/2011 10:34

How about Dallin? Almost used this for DS1 after an American friend of ours whom DH and I both admire.
