They are both lovely I think. Both have potential shortening issues though, maybe.

What do you think? Smile

Juliet - no contest! Personally I love the nn Jule or Jules.

MummyGil · 06/02/2011 21:34

I'd opt for Juliet. Imogen is pretty but much more common.

specialsmasher · 06/02/2011 21:34

Thank you! I know a Jules whom I really dislike - will have to get over...

Juliet. Love it.

Rhubarbgarden · 06/02/2011 21:37

Juliet.

GrumpyGirls · 06/02/2011 22:10

Juliet. Imogen sounds really clunky and closer to Engine than a name should be. I know a Juliet whose nn is Jewel.

strawberrylion · 06/02/2011 22:46

Imogen!

stressheaderic · 06/02/2011 22:49

Juliet - by a mile. We nearly called DD this.

Kirshti · 06/02/2011 22:50

I really like imogen but I prefer more unusual names.. Juliet is beautiful :)

BikeRunSki · 06/02/2011 22:56

Imogen!

AnnOnimous · 06/02/2011 23:10

Juliet, definitely

MelinaM · 07/02/2011 00:02

Juliet, Imogen is very common popular at the mo! x

specialsmasher · 07/02/2011 06:33

Hee! Thanks for input, all.

I was surprised to see that Imogen is as high as it is in the top 100. I do really like Juliet...

Juliet Imogen.

Very nice

Good point, OADCB!

Juliet, Juliet, JULIET!!!

Although prepare her for a lifetime of 'Romeo' jibes. Every boy she dates will have 'o' added to his name by some 'wit'.
And people will struggle with spelling, adding too many 'e's, 'l's and 't's.

Still a fab and relatively unique name though.

specialsmasher · 07/02/2011 06:58

Yes - the Romeo jibes are bound to be a right pest. Hopefully she'll like the classical romantic connotations of her name though...

There is always something that can be teased about in a name.

Much better it's a classic novel and slightly original.

Think you may have sparked a name I like ( we are TTC)

SnapFrakkleAndPop · 07/02/2011 07:27

Juliet I think. Although I do love Imogen as well!

specialsmasher · 07/02/2011 08:03

That works out at 14/2 in favour of Juliet!

Juliet, Imogen is very common popular here (SW England)

CharlieBoo · 07/02/2011 12:15

As there's such a posh lot in today I'll add my twopence worth. Juliet I don't like at all ...makes me think of common people I know called Jules! Eeewww! Smile
