DH and I cannot agree on a name for our little girl. When I was pg we had a shortlist but couldn't decide on one so we decided to wait until she was born and hope a name would just jump out at us. No such luck. Why is it so hard to agree on a nice name?!

We already have a DS called Cristiano so it would have to go with that. We quite like Eva but not certain it's the right choice. Any suggestions?

Eva seems a little 'short changed' next to Cristiano :(

What other names did you have on your short list (so we can see the sort of names you like).

HettyAmaretti · 01/02/2011 17:20

'Short changed'. Exactly. How do you always know how to put everything Chipping??

If it helps we called dd2 a name that we changed after 4 months... It was no problem. If it doesn't feel right, it ain't right. I early understand your predicament though

I like HettyAmaretti's suggestion of Gabriella (can be double L can't it??) it goes really well with Christiano, more so than any of the other suggestions so far

I will throw in Katia, Magdalena and Isabelle as my offering but Hetty takes the winner's prize I reckon

sparkle12mar08 · 02/02/2011 11:32

Gabriella is lovely, and I very much like Lena mentioned above.

Eva's ok but a bit ubiquitous compared to Christiano. I'm liking the short and European sound though.
