Due dc2 in 5 wks, have an inkling its a girl so what do you think of Emilia Alison (Emi as nn).I know the middle name is dated but its my mums name and as DS has a middle name from my other half's side I would like to nod at my family if at all poss (any other female names, not that there are many, are hideous btw!)

Very nice. Emilia is quite 'now' (in a good, fresh way, not an uber-trendy-likely-to-date-way)) so Alison balances it well. It's a lovely name.
