Hello,

I'm off for my 1st scan tomorrow though already thinking of names. We already have a little Isla.

For girls name we are thinking in no particular order.

Nancy
Eve
Daisy
Sadie

For boys

Lloyd
Finlay
Louis
Adam

A girls name we both really love is Eliza but we feel that Isla and Eliza are too simlar. Oppinons?

we will not be finding out the sex beofre it is born.

Nancy and Adam are my favourites. Are you pronouncing Louis as Lou+ee or Lou+is?

My favourites are Sadie and Adam.

I do think Eliza and Isla are too similiar. Sorry. (both really lovely though).

Eve - beautiful
Daisy - I just find this too twee personally or think of it as a cow's name but loads of people like it.
Sadie - beautiful

I think I'd go for Sadie if I had to choose. It sounds really lovely next to Isla and is that bit more unusual these days compared to Eve.

Boys:

Lloyd - I dont like it, I automatically think of Jim Carey's character in Dumb and Dumber and it immediately puts me off.
Finlay - lovely
Louis - Lovely
Adam - lovely

Hmm difficult. Despite Adam being gorgeous, I know loads and loads of them so for that reason alone, I'd be stuck between Finlay and Louis.

You have lovely names! I dont think you are going to go wrong regardless to be honest..

And although my fave is Louis, I think Finlay goes so very well with Isla, you should pick Finlay.

Nancy and Sadie for a girl - Love both of these!
Not so keen on the boys tbh but then I didn't like any boys names!

I like Sadie best from your girls list and Finlay best of your boys.

I like Daisy and Sadie best from your girls list, and Adam and Lloyd from the boys list.

I love Sadie goes nicely after ISla aswell
Nancy is also very nice, but doesn't have the same something that Sadie does?

Finlay and Eve are both too 'of the moment' for me, and I agree Daisy is a bit twee
Not a massive fan of Louis either, but both Adam and Lloyd are lovely

And although I love Eliza, I have to agree that it's never going to work with Isla sorry!!

Love Isla and Nancy together. I think that Isla and Eliza are too similar, could Eliza be a middle name though? Like all your boys names expect Lloyd, it sounds a bit old-fashioned but perhaps its due a come back.

I like all your names too, good choices and two of them are my brothers names.

So I would say if you are going to go for Louis please pronounce it Lou-ee. Its not Lewis, you will and if its a he, he will have a nightmare telling people that they have pronounced it wrong.

Love all your girls names, and all the boys names except Lloyd. Agree that Eliza is a little too close to Isla as a first name for another DD, but as a middle name would work well.

I really love Nancy and Sadie. Daisy is a bit too cutesy imo. I don't dislike it though. Evie is very popular.

Lloyd. hmmm, not sure. I think not, bit of an odd choice. NOt popular, not fashionable, just..... odd. But I like some odd names too (bruce, howard, victor)

Louis - I like this one! but again like Isla it has an L and a silent s. Bit matchy matchy with Isla imo

Finlay - I like it but I prefer Fergus especially as Finlay is very popular.

What was the other name.....? oh yeah Adam. You can't go wrong with Adam but it's not a wow choice.

Sadie and Louis get my vote
