Hi, I like the name Felix... Felix Friend - does it work or is it cruel?!

Thanks

Wasn't a problem for Frederick Forsyth!

girlafraid · 28/01/2011 19:49

Fine

LadySanders · 28/01/2011 19:51

my maiden name was alliterative, first name and surname were both 9 letters and 3 syllables... i HATED it... yours is a bit shorter and snappier though and sounds cute

GiraffeAHolic · 28/01/2011 19:55

My dd's initials are the same, (also F) seems to flow well off the tongue

growing3rdbump · 28/01/2011 20:56

I like it.

christabell · 29/01/2011 06:03

I have an alliterative name with the same number of syllables and hate it. I wouldn't do it personally, I always wondered why my parents didn't go for one of the 25 other letters of the alphabet!

tummytickler · 29/01/2011 08:28

I like it.

clumsymumluckybaby · 29/01/2011 10:45

my sister has P.P as initials and she hates it...

Hedwig3 · 29/01/2011 12:52

I hear 'feel his friend' a bit, but I am silly!

eatyourveg · 29/01/2011 12:55

ds2 is CC

Speedbump · 29/01/2011 18:13

I love the name but I think if it was my child then I would have to choose something different.

We love the name William but we have decided to rule it out due to our surname. It sounds worse when it's shortened to Will. I'm pretty gutted but I just can't do it.

StarlightPrincess · 29/01/2011 18:35

My DS is Brandon Beck, his dad (DP) is Brad Beck, and his Grandad (FIL) is Barry Beck- we like alliteration in our family!

blushingm · 29/01/2011 20:19

i like Molly & Malachy but my surname is Maxwell so i don't think it sounded right -

LaydeeC · 29/01/2011 23:50

I also have an alliterative name both 9 letters, both 3 syllables!
People often comment that they like it!

maighdlin · 30/01/2011 01:15

before i was married i was an M M M. DH is a G G G. i like alliterations.

muminthemiddle · 30/01/2011 17:44

I think your choice sounds fine.

growing3rdbump · 31/01/2011 16:06

Molly Maxwell sounds fine I think. Try being a Miller - nothing seems to go well. Molly Miller, Ella Miller, Emma Miller, Camilla Miller... girls names have been a struggle!
