hello people of mummsnet

is there any reason why i cant give my new baby tha same first and middle names

i got a name i really like and me boyfriend likes it to so we thought wed give it the same for both.

what doyou think is it a good idea or allowed from the law. we were thinking of jenn jenn or maybe jennifer jenn. my name is jenn as well so we know we like it

If there's only one name you like, then just use that on its own. You don't actually need to give the baby a middle name. The only time I ever use my middle name is when I'm filling out forms.

I'm sure this is a joke thread, but just in case...
