Hi,

I don't really dislike many people and I hate even less..however I do have a nemesis (don't we all Smile)

Annoying I like her DS name...Hmm Envy Hmm When he was born I thought it was a bit 'weak, boring etc etc' however I now see this is because I dislike her and not the name itself.

It's nearly time to pop this baby out...so do you think I can use the same name...? DH and I can't agree on any DS names at all. And it does sound really good with our surnames.

On the plus side it's in the top 10 so lots of other people have DS named this too.

Views please....!!!

Do you still see this person? If so it may be confusing for the children to both be called the same thing. Saying that, my best friend when I was a kid had the same name as me and it didn't trouble us! Maybe just go for it, if you don't care that she slags you off for 'stealing' the name! Grin

Not really, however that could change...! Currently several hundred miles apart, but lots of friends in common.

I think we would use the full name and the NN. They just went with the NN.

If you really like it and don't mind the fact the other person has used the name, then yes it's fine.

You'll associate the name with your DS so it won't matter that someone else happened to choose it too :)

Eek- for one horrible moment I thought someone was asking for opinions on calling their baby 'Nemesis'! Wink

I'd go for it.

EauRouge · 25/01/2011 17:00

Hello highlandgirl Yes, I agree that you should go for it if you love the name. And I'm very impressed that you have a nemesis Grin

ValiumSilverTongue · 25/01/2011 17:04

I think using it is actually the ultimate sign that she has left no impression on you whatsoever, never mind being your nemisis. lol

You're not metromind and megamind!

CharlieBoo · 25/01/2011 17:22

What's the name? Am surshe'll be very flattered.

ValiumSilverTongue · 25/01/2011 17:44

I'd say she'd be confused rather than flattered!!

Highlandgirl · 25/01/2011 19:34

No she's slag me off, big time. The other name I happen to like is her DH's...!!!

cocoachannel Hahaha yes that would be a bit out there...however I could see it being the name for my MIL's cat..!

Vallium this is a very good point..she is so pointless I forgot..!

Eau I'm sure it's nothing to be proud off having a nemesis. Since we have moved for DH work isn't not be half as much fun...[bgrin] as it used to be.
