DS is George and we love it (almost as much as we love him!).

Am pregnant now ans we are thinking of following names but are there any suggestions? Please?!

Henry, Harry.
Have ruled out William, Samuel, Thomas, Edward, James, oscar, Lucas.

Elizabeth, Alice, Clementine.

We are struggling as you can see.

Archie?

I know a couple of toddlers, and they are their names

Mousesmummy · 23/01/2011 14:25

My neice and nephew are George and Lucy.
I love ALL your girls names - would be hard pushed to choose between them!
Not so keen on Henry, Harry but don't know why?
So not much use then eh? Boys names are hard I think!!

Really like Henry and Alice.

I also like:
Charlotte
Eliza
Amelia

Albert/Bertie

Like all your names including the ones you have ruled out (except Lucus, but just not my cup of tea rather than I don't like it per se) and love Clementine but my dh would never let me use it.

Alexander;
Zach;
Jacob;
Jack;
Matthew;
Oliver?

Isobel;
Emily;
Megan?

Why have you ruled those others out? Because of people you know or you don't like them? If it's because of people you know (unless they are family) then I really wouldn't let that stop me using a name. They are all popular names and they'll know more than one of them at some point in their life.

Mumcentreplus · 23/01/2011 14:31

@Cointreau great minds Grin

FrumpyPumpy · 23/01/2011 14:33

I love Sebastian, vetoed by DH.

Like Eliza.
Mildred v nice too Wink

Thanks!

Yes, ruled out because of people we know, but only his cousins and DCs of our closest friends. If really loved them it would not stop us though!

I know three people who have George and a Grace. They do go together.

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 23/01/2011 17:28

Elizabeth - a regal name to go with the regal George. Edward for a boy?

BellaMagnificat · 23/01/2011 18:55

Oh poo I was going to say Mildred too.

Elizabeth is so very timeless and a personal favourite but lookign a bit further back:

Sophia
Charlotte
Caroline
and May or Mary ( or Maria if we're considering an erm wider, population)

They've all gone with George.

Sirzy · 23/01/2011 18:58

I love all your choices :) DS is Harry so I am biased towards that one and would probably use George if I had another.

BellaMagnificat · 23/01/2011 19:00

Clementine was also a contemporary of one of those Georges, but I very much doubt they went together.

It does rather remind me of soft fruit.

Satsuma
Seville-Orange
Minneaola
Anyone?

Joking aside now, if I haven't alienated you forever - a name just popped into my head - Cecilia?

BellaMagnificat · 23/01/2011 19:02

Or Dorothy?

they aren't going to be together forever mind :)

FrumpyPumpy · 23/01/2011 19:40

Really like Cecilia and Mineola.

Thanks!

I have a George and Eleanor.

if that helps

EvaManeva · 23/01/2011 21:18

My sister has a George, Finn & Imogen. I think Edward goes too and like how Grace looks with George.

BibiThree · 23/01/2011 21:20

My friend has a George and an Isabelle and they go together perfectly imo. Also, they are the best of friends and very close, nothing to do with the names, but v sweet.
