Edith, Esther or Verity?

We're stuck between these for our list, so need opinions.

Edith wouldn't be shortened. Which of these is most popular?

I love Verity.

All lovely. I would go for Esther.

I love Edith, not so keen on the others. Not sure that any of them are really popular round here

I wanted an Edith Rose but known as Edie I like Esther.

Verity love it cant choose it myself as surname begins with D.

her bf at school is called Pearl - always makes me laugh, "Esther and Pearl", surely we must be back in the 1930s or 40s

Verity is absolutely gorgeous and I would use it like a shot but DH hates it . Then Esther but get rid of Edith, it's foul!

They're all nice names, but I like Esther best and it's certainly not very common where I live.

i really like Edith; I know a few Esther's (middle aged) - and I can't stand Verity - always seems prim and proper to me and holier than thou being named after a virtue
