Not too wacky but not Top Ten - any suggestions? Thanks!

Saul
Greg(ory)
Fergus (Gus and Ben)
Rob(ert)

Matt(hew) and Alex(ander) go with Ben too but are very popular.

Our Benjamin's brother is Samuel, but that might be in the top 10. Would also have liked Daniel (but we had Samuel first and Samuel and Daniel are not a good idea!)

Hedwig3 · 11/01/2011 11:21

Sam(Samuel) was my first thought. They go very well together.

Lawrence (Laurie)
Dylan
Otto
Jerry (only joking!)

I was going to say Samuel or Thomas but probably too common. Also

Joshua
Joseph
Luke
Joel

My Ben has a little brother called Will.

All good till someone pointed out they may get called Bill and Ben the flowerpot men

xD

OddBodd · 11/01/2011 16:36

Samuel or Joseph.

PorkChopSter · 11/01/2011 16:37

Samuel, Matthew, Joseph, Gideon, Isaac

Just seconding the Nicholas suggestion - lovely name that isn't very popular now. It's my older brother's name and I would have been Benjamin if I'd been a boy.

kt14 · 11/01/2011 19:30

how funny, clicked on this as I have a Ben myself - my two are Benjamin Isaac and Samuel Joseph - I love the Ben and Sam combo, glad so many MNers approve Smile

mandy1978 · 11/01/2011 22:11

i have got a ben and if this baby had been a boy we had the following names picked:

alexander
daniel
matthew
james

all very traditional but went well with benjamin

lovely name choice by the way
xx

DS is Benjamin and if DD had been a boy she would possibly have been

William
Alexander or
Samuel

but still not sure which it would have been.
