Ok, not a baby names thread as such but, with a couple of days to myself I have decided to write a Mills and Boon submission. Confused

My heroine is called Isabella Willems, and the hero is Casper Alexander McKenzie.

So, what are your thoughts? Grin

Willems is annoying because you feel it should be Williams.

Alexander McKenzie better without the Caspar

What about Miles Alexander Mckenzie....?

If you went for Mackenzie you could call him Mac for short..!

Go on throw a Von Willems in for good measure...Grin

Agree about Willems. I want to be German and say Villems.

Williams would be better.

Am not sure Isabella is M&Boony enough?

What about

Genevieve and Felix?

SparklyJules · 30/12/2010 17:36

Or Felicity? That always sounds Mills & Boony to me.

Felicity Farquhar? She'd be very horsey.

SpringHeeledJack · 30/12/2010 17:43

will there be ripped bodices at all?

Fuchzia · 30/12/2010 17:50

Depends - where's it set? Is it modern?

Highlandgirl · 30/12/2010 17:56

I think I might get into Mills and Boon whist breastfeeding...I can seeing hours of the day being wasted dreaming about a tall, strong, grumpy and sexy 'Mr Darcy' type of man...grrrrr!

Yes, please provide more details Hannah...!

Isabella Willems sounds like a question.

You could use Isabelle and spell it 'Ysabelle'?

I say just Alexander and drop Casper too; Casper is too raspy.

HannahHack · 30/12/2010 18:57

Isabella is supposed to be a high flying career girl who losses her job and goes back to her home in Scotland, where she meets brooding, wealthy Casper. I agree with you about Williams though. Duly noted.
Yes it is supposed to be modern. But Mills and Boon modern IYSWIM.

If Scotland, def Alexander without the Caspar.

I've not read M&B but grew up with Womans Weekly Romantic Fiction Grin - Isabella is a classic for that genre, he can (once the inevitable misunderstandings are resolved) huskily whisper 'Bella, my love' into her hair.
