This is my very first post so hope it's in the right place and makes sense!

We're having a little girl in March, and I'd appreciate some HONEST opinions on our name short list (so far) and some more suggestions maybe?

Ava Beatrice
Imogen Beatrice
Elsa Beatrice
Eliza Beatrice

Her last name will be Daniels. Thank you!

I have an Imogen so i am biased, that said my Imogen is 11 now and loves her name and likes that it comes from Shakespeare. I like Ava Beatrice from your list too Smile
I like Eliza and think Elsa is ok as well just not so keen if they get shortened to Ellie (but i think thats just my personal thing because i don't like Ellie) that may not bother you or others though.

BelligerentYhoULE · 20/12/2010 12:05

Imogen Beatrice is lovely.

Elizabeth Beatrice also lovely, with Eliza for nn.

Tommy · 20/12/2010 12:05

I like them all except Imogen (sorry violet!) which I think is a bit too much used at the mo

fozzy26 · 20/12/2010 12:16

Eliza Beatrice is the name of Natalie Cassidy's baby (Sonia from Eastenders)

ShoppingDays · 20/12/2010 13:36

My favourite from your list is Imogen Beatrice.

aBrightStarWithFestiveWays · 20/12/2010 13:41

Love Elsa, hate Beatrice (sorry).

StarlightPrincess · 20/12/2010 14:29

I like Imogen the best from your shortlist.

AllieW · 20/12/2010 14:45

Imogen and Ava are my favourites (I have an Imogen so am biased!).

Miriam Beatrice might be quite pretty?

Lonnie · 20/12/2010 19:55

Elsa or Eliza imo

Imogen and Ava for me are way to popular

mathanxiety · 21/12/2010 06:34

I love Eliza Beatrice and Elsa Beatrice. Ava and Imogen are very popular.

JiltedJohnsJulie · 21/12/2010 06:46

Ava is quite popular here but I only know one Imogen and she is 6.

From your list I like Imogen Beatrice the best or how about Beatrice Ava?

Also like Belligerent's suggestion of Elizabeth Beatrice with Eliza as her nn.

Congratulations on your PG btw Xmas Smile

JiltedJohnsJulie · 21/12/2010 06:47

Just realised that Beatrice Ava would give her the intials BAD. Perhaps not then. Xmas Blush

Boobz · 21/12/2010 07:21

A third vote for Elizabeth Beatrice with Eliza as NN. But they are all lovely to be honest. Would steer clear of Ava as it's so popular at the moment.

PracticallyImperfectInEveryWay · 22/12/2010 00:51

Eliza or Elsa my preference also :)

itsawonderfuldarleneconnorlife · 22/12/2010 02:57

Ava's my favourite but there are an awful lot of them!

Komondor · 22/12/2010 10:13

Ava's my favourite.

girlafraid · 22/12/2010 10:19

They are all really good names, you can't go wrong with any of them

As itsawonderful says there are rather a lot of Avas around though, I think I know a dozen!

Eliza is great.

Minione · 22/12/2010 14:49

Eliza is beautiful and I love Beatrice as a middle name. The others are all nice names but Ava has become far too popular (is lovely though)

Nightstar · 22/12/2010 15:21

I love Eliza. I always love it in Pride and Prej when Elizabeth was called Miss Eliza, it has such a classic ring to it.

Elsa - yuk
Imogen is cold
Ava will date badly

I really like the sound and look of:

'Eliza Daniels'.

The others dont seem to have the same ring to them.

CharlieBoo · 23/12/2010 18:27

Eliza is the best but you can't go wrong with any of them really

KAEKAE · 24/12/2010 00:28

Ava is my DD middle name and TBH it is SO popular now. We named her this last year and this year alone I have known six little Ava's to be born and met five alone at the nursery my DS started this year. Shock So....for me out of your list I like Eliza.
