Hi ladies, I have posted a while ago but I still can't stop thinking about these two names and change my mind a lot. May I ask for your feedback on the names Phoebe Shailes and Meredith Shailes. Many thanks!! Sorry for the format, I'm on my mobile! X

What is Shailes? How is it pronounced? Are you actually pregnant with a girl or just planning in advance.
Of the two first names, I prefer Meredith however, it would always put me in mind of Ms Kercher. Sorry.

I prefer Phoebe but both are nice. Both have potential associations - some people would think Phoebe from friends, some Meredith Kercher - but kids at school are unlikely to think of either.

I've replied on your other thread. Both nice names but I'd vote for Phoebe Shailes. With Meredith Shailes, the "th" and "Sh" don't flow well together.

Shailes is the surname and it is pronounced like 'Shay-les'

I am defo planning in advance but my SIL is due on Valentines day so she has re-ignited my baby name obsession! :O
Just want to be prepared haha.

Sorry, I thought the Shailes was the middle name.
