Kerensa / Karensa / Kerenza / Karenza

Both DP's name and mine start with 'C' so I wanted something similar but without the postal difficulties.

Any other K names you like? :)

Never heard of Kerensa. Is it a real name? I think that people would struggle to spell/promounce it however it was spelt.

I also like Katherine/Kathryn with Kate or Kitty as a nn.

Sorry OP, but the names you've mentioned remind me of Kerosene!

How about...

Kerenza is a Cornish name - I know a 2 year old Kerenza. (This is the spelling I prefer, btw). Love it.

My niece is called Keziah (which we pronounce Kezziah rather than Kuh Ziah which you might more naturally expect) and I think this is quite pretty. It is Biblical and means cinnamon, I think.

RockinRobinBird · 13/12/2010 15:06

Kerensa is lovely (my preferred spelling!)

SlightlyTubbyHali · 13/12/2010 15:15

Out of the spellings you have listed I prefer Kerensa. I don't like "z" in names generally for some reason (except for Zoe).

I like Katherine and Kate.

If you're very keen on "k"s you could make like a Khardashian and name her "Kim Kourtney Khloe Kendall Kylie". Or maybe not...

Oooh, I like Kristen and Kirsten if those are any good.

Kerenza, with Es and a Z. I love this name.

Also Keziah, Kirsten, Kirsty and Kathleen and Kathryn mentioned above.

Other names that can start with K I prefer starting with a C.

LaTristesse · 13/12/2010 19:00

I was going to be called Karenza, would have been quite far out in the 70s I think. Sadly they chose something else...
