Was due last week and still can't decide on name. Probably why DS staying put. Current shortlist is;

Jasper
Finn - I know very popular
Gabriel - I love it. DH doesn't

Open to other suggestions too, ideally with a festive or Irish link.

Jasper or Finn, (but Finlay's better)

I still think it's cruel to burden a child with a name that starts with 'Gay.' Kids are 'orrible

I like Gabriel the best. It is gentlemanly, elegant, charming and gentle. Love it.
I Hate 'Fin' names passionately.
Jasper is quite cute.

Finn is excellent. Jasper I'm warming to but doesn't seem quite as strong as Finn.
Never liked Gabriel.

Finn is a brilliant name for a boy - perfection!

Jasper is OK but quite 'in' now and will probably become as popular as Finn - so go for Finn as it's a much nicer name :)

Gabriel is too soft.

I like Finn to, and Flynn also great and along the same lines.

Not a huge fan of Gabriel.

Gabriel, um, it sounds a little poncy to be honest. Kids will shorten it to 'gay' as well.

I've always thought Jasper was a name for a dog!

Finn's nice.

Love Finn and quite like Gabriel...not keen on Jasper (I think he's a cat in children's books...)

Melchior, Balthazar or Casper....they're festive (actually really like Casper)
