Two weeks to go and no idea on a boy's name

Help!

I was deciding on my baby's name with his dad (we're not together) but now he's done a bunk with two weeks to go and it's all up to ME ME ME!! Grin

Trouble is, I have no idea what to call my forthcoming DS now.

I like more unusual/rock star names rather than bank manager names.

Here are some I considered earlier. Any suggestions gratefully received (have to go out for a bit but will return).

Chester
Dylan (too popular I think)
Elliot
Kingsley
Otto
Emerson

I've got a Dylan (11 wks) and the name got a great reaction from family & friends. A lot of people seemed to think it was quite unusual. He's quite a quirky little chap so it suits him Grin

Hmm Elvis type... Gerry Lee Lewis? Marvin, um Paul, John, Ringo or George? Actually Lennon is very cool imo... Can see where your coming from on the fan girl thing but if you love the name sod it! Chances are your son will own the name a few weeks in and the band dude can just massage his ego all his like while you say actually its after Billy Elliot/Elliot from E.T/Fred Elliot? Grin

I think Kingsley is more "old man" than rock star. I like Emerson, and have only ever come across it as a boys name. I think Otto is great.

Elliott and Dylan are both frequently used (round here, at least).

How about: Ivo, Joel, Spike, Xander, Beau, Elias, Nico, Marcus, Lucas?

I know of a boy called Emerson.

How about Hendrix?! Personally I love it, ticks all of your boxes I think!Grin
Some other possibilities:

Kasbah ...I rather fancy this monika!
Jagger -(O'l rubber lips himself ..no offence love him)
Bo -(Diddley)
Taylor -(Roger)
Lennon
Bowie
Zeppelin ...just thought I'd throw this in!
Cobain
Freddie -(MercurySmile)
Nesta -(Marley mn)
Joe -(Strummer ..would suggest but going a bit far even for me!!!)
Hutchence -(Michael)
Keith -plain but-(Keef Richards & Moon)

I was going to add Morrison (the late great Jim) but too much like a supermarket I feel!!!

Oh well good luck! xoxox

If you call him Elvis I'll never talk to you again - let alone your Mum!! Grin

Are you any closer to a short list?
