how do you know name # after 100?

have seen lots of baby name charts, but all only go upto 100
i've googled it but all websites seem to be USA?

The ONS (office for national statistics) produce a list of ALL given names in a given year. It shows every single name and how often it was used. Haven't got the link to hand but it has been posted here before.

You need to click on the sixth tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet (you might need to scroll along) and then you'll find the list of all baby names in 2009.

Thanks takethatlady! I've wondered how to find this info too, and didn't realise there were all those tabs at the bottom.

Do they just count first names or are middle names included in the count?

It's just first names, I think.
