they are all nice but i think may

weepootle · 05/12/2010 23:05

Louisa is the only one I like and I love it.

proudfoot · 05/12/2010 23:15

All nice. I would pick Louisa or Juliet.

LittleCheesyPineappleOne · 05/12/2010 23:20

My favourite: May
then...
Juliet
Rosa
Louisa

I think the -a names are in vogue at the moment - I read on a blog that Italian and Spanish sounding endings (Sophia, Anna, Louisa, Isabella) are popular now in the way that French sounding names were popular in the 70s (Marie, Julie, Louise, Claire).

ValiumSingleton · 05/12/2010 23:21

Juliet
Louisa

the other two are ok as middle names. Louisa May or Juliet Rosa

Concordia · 05/12/2010 23:22

Juliet

ValiumSingleton · 05/12/2010 23:24

Oh, if the middle name is Anne, then Juliet Anne is gorgeous.

As for the adding one letter, or changing a letter, obviously this is just fashion. Alison/Alice for eg.

BarbieLovesKen · 05/12/2010 23:26

Juliet definately.

Beautiful, timeless, classic. I love this name.

thereisalightanditnevergoesout · 05/12/2010 23:26

Louisa May? Really? - what about Louisa May Alcott - author of Little Women.

With Anne as a middle name, Juliet sounds better - something ending in 'a' stops the flow, I think.

hester · 05/12/2010 23:27

Louisa or Rosa.

How about Julia?

LaDiDaDi · 05/12/2010 23:27

Middle name being Anne means that it has to be Juliet!

The others just don't sound right (May Anne) or run into each other (Rosa Anne sounds like Rosa ran).

Like Rosa the best - then Juliet.

EenyMeenyMaya · 06/12/2010 08:59

May. If you like the A sounding names, how about Maya?

Hedwig3 · 06/12/2010 12:47

Rosa Smile

mathanxiety · 06/12/2010 18:36

Louisa or Juliet, with Juliet winning by a nose. All are lovely though.
