Hi am having ID twin boys and we have been racking our brains for names.

Have come up with Finn (My DP is Irish. also means fair and little warrior, and he is the smaller of the two), and Issac.

We loved finn and Artie, but of course in school it will be fartie....so had to scrap that. Do not want names beginning with the same letters as want them to be as individual as possible...any other sugestions? Smile

I like Finn and Isaac Smile

Finn and Isaac is good.
I am closely related to two sets of identical twins, all names rather similar and beginning with same letter. Identically dressed in many family photos.

They are very very individual, Given half a chance I don't think ID twins have any trouble marking out their separate identities.

Nice.

I would have gone for Felix & Oscar.

Ineedsomesleep · 28/11/2010 11:03

My friend's cats are called Felix and Oscar Grin.

If you like Artie how about calling him Arthur and using Artie as a family nn?

Finn is ok, but is popular especially when you add up all the similar names like Finley and Finlay, don't know if that would bother you though and Isaac was popular a few years ago.

Finn and Arthur
Finn and Angus

Finn and Archie
Finn and Gregor
Finn and Diarmuid
Finn and Tadhg
Finn and Don (Donald)

I'd prefer Finlay/Finley with Finn as a nn.

I don't like Issac at all.

What about Callum/Connor/Aidan/Ronan?

MelinaM · 28/11/2010 11:48

Can't say that I'm a fan of Finn, it's on of those cutsie names that's very of the moment I'm afraid! Arthur's lovelySmile

How about:

Rory (Ruairi)
James (Jamie)
William (Liam)
Matthew (Maitiu)

Tootlesmummy · 28/11/2010 11:51

Arthur's a horrible name as it Rory, sorry.

Love Finn (prefer Finlay) and Isaac.

Love Archie, Oisin as well.

Ineedsomesleep · 28/11/2010 12:06

Will have to differ on that one tootles as I think its fab. The world would be a boring place though if everyone liked the same names. Oh hang on, every little girl here is called the same name. Evie.

LadyGoneGaga · 28/11/2010 12:11

How about Finn and Albie?
I really like Rory but DP doesn't. And our nephew is called Finn (short for Finley)

spidookly · 28/11/2010 12:18

Conan? Or Cónán? (COE-nawn)

Oisín

Fiach (FEE-ach)

Finn is lovely BTW

typsical · 28/11/2010 15:53

Finn and Blake (Blake can also mean fair)...?

diddl · 28/11/2010 18:35

I love Rory -and Rufus.

Think that they both mean red, though.
