Can I use same name as sister's DP?

We have been struggling to think of a name for a boy (don't know what we're having). DH has suggested Joseph (which we both like) but this is the name of my sister's DP. I see my sister a fair amount (she has a DS 8 months old) but don't really see her DP.

What do you think?

I would say it's absolutely fine to do this.

It's such a regular name that it doesn't matter.

Yes I think that is fine. Why don't you check with her? You might get jokes about how he was named after his "dad" though!!
