NO I haven't spelt it wrong lol.

Arran, like the island not Aaron like normal.

Don't have any girls names lined up as I am sure it's a boy for some reason. lol.

Yes, I like it, and Arran the island is beautiful too :)

darleneconnor · 15/11/2010 15:41

could use it for both imo.

there are quite a few arrans spelt like this in scotland atm

rockinmum · 15/11/2010 15:42

Yeah we're in Scotland at th emoment, and my husband is Scottish with an Irish surname so it goes well as far as I'm concerned.

Bit annoyed that he won't let me have George for a middle name though lol. Will have to go with William instead

I think it's a lovely name. And much better than Aaron, because this can be confusing and pronounced Air-ron.

mathanxiety · 16/11/2010 06:38

Lovely. There's also Aran, as in the Irish Aran Islands, pronounced the same. Much nicer than Aaron.

Ineedsomesleep · 16/11/2010 07:15

Lovely and so are your choices for a middle name. Think your choice is much nicer though, but I'm not biased.

I have a 4 year old Arran...it is a beautiful name, and beautiful island.....

YouremindmeoftheBFP · 09/05/2011 10:22

Why won't he let you have George?

I like Arran.

olddeuteronomy · 09/05/2011 12:12

Arran is ok but too much like Darren imo. Aaron (Air - on) is much nicer.
