A name for DS2

DS1 is Noah

For DS2 I love Flint but am worried it's too crazy and people will laugh at me/him. The other option is Finn.

So, Noah & Flint or Noah & Finn?

Flint is nice but quite unusual. Finn is more common but overused imo and will therefore date much more than a more classic name like Noah (which I love!).

How about Quinn?

Quinn is too much like Quim!

I see Finn as a fairly old name too, it's certainly not made up or modern. Flint is modern but I really do like it.

How about Flynn?
Sort of like both, but not!

Much prefer Finn to Flint even though Finn has become very popular. I think people will not "get" Flint.

I'm not keen on Finn as it has become so overused in a short time period.

I love Quinn (Sharon's stone son, I think) and think it is nicer and less common than Finn. Flynn is quite nice too actually.

I mentioned Flynn to DH but he is not keen. I think I prefer Finn anyway. Its not too popular, not like Jack or Oliver!

I'm still holding out for Flint anyway :)

Flint is more like a gangsta nickname than a proper first name imo. Finn much nicer imo.

There's also Oisin, if you like Irish names (I think of Finn as an Irish name), also Ferdia, Fergus, Fiacra, Fintan, Finbar.
