Please pick one and explain why - even if it's just 'the lesser of two evils' Grin

While I definitely appreciate there are people who will dislike these names and will suggest others, these are the final 2 so please don't post if you have nothing to contribute!

Love Elias, it is easier to say than Isaiah.

Minione · 08/11/2010 17:07

Love both but probably prefer Elias as I once taught a really, really naughty boy called Isaiah and it reminds me of him!

skippingturtle · 08/11/2010 17:23

Like them both, but I prefer Elias as Isaiah feels overtly religious. Good choices!

Isaiah is my fave

spiderlight · 08/11/2010 18:10

I like Isaiah but love Elias - it was the name of a favourite tutor at uni and Isaiah is a little bit too overtly religious for me.

Stardown · 08/11/2010 18:20

Thanks so much for comments so far! Definitely get the 'overtly religious' thing - but both DP and I are atheists. The name would be to honor my grandmother's dad who she was very close to, and my grandmother and I are very tightly knit.

Elias we just like the sound of Grin

Elias is better. Isaiah is just too much I think.

BelligerentGhoul · 08/11/2010 18:31

Elias is gorgeous.

Isaiah is a bit worthy imho.

Bumping for more opinions!

1 for Isaiah and 6 for Elias so far!

Elias - my son is Cameron Elias :)

I love Isaiah - met a smallish one in the summer who suited the name and was lovely.

Ineedsomesleep · 09/11/2010 22:44

Like Elias but prefer Isaiah.
