What do people think of the name Luke for a boy and Tamara for a girl? Only 18 weeks at the mo am going to find out sex at 20 week scan! Also i wanted to use a middle name that meant something, so i was thinking of my grandmothers name Joan as a middle one to Tamara, what do u think? :)

I have never been a fan of Luke I am afraid. There is not a reason it is an irrational dislike of mine. Too plain (although I do like John!)
Tamara is alright, but I do not like Tammy.
I prefer Joan as a first name which I love!

Also (totally irrationally!) never been a fan of the name Luke - it always felt a little 'blah' to me.

I adore Tamara, and Tamara Joan is just lovely. I've known two Tamaras and neither has been nicknamed Tammy; it can be avoided!

I love Tamara and tought about it for a girl but I don't like the nickname Tammie at all.

I have an irrational hatred of Luke as well. Tamara I don't like, however, Tara I do.

Prefer adam to luke and not too keen on tamara. Like joan though

I prefer Lucas to Luke.

Tamara I'm not sure about, I kind of like it but it is maybe a bit chavvy.
