Call for help!

Hi all, I posted t'other day about the names Benjamin and Beatrice - with the nn's of Ben and Bea. Response was limited so just wanted to re-ask the question to see if I can illicit more replies!

Would you find the Ben and Bea combination too similar/ confusing/ bothersome?

names are fine in themselves but poss a bit much for twins - would sound rather twee to me

I like them but not sure about having them together. They're so short and only one letter off....too tricky IMO.

Beatrice is nice, Ben is very plain in my opinion and kinda makes Beatrice not as nice, as it doesnt compliment it.

Benjamin/ Ben is nice.

Really always hated the name Beatrice. Sorry.

It's ok - think different starting letters would complememt each other more.

Just read your original thread and as they're not twins, don't think them complementing each other perfectly is SO important...and Beatrice is a lovely name.

Hi Stereo. I think your choice of names sound lovely. I know you have asked for opinions but I wouldn't worry about how well they sound together. I have got a Ben (just Ben and not Benjamin) and I posted a similar thread about trying to find names that compliment each other. Sometimes the responses you get back are not what you want to hear, so I would say if you love the name Beatrice just go for it. If not, you will only end up regretting it. I think, I listened too much to other peoples opinions and now am regretting my choice of name and looking at changing my DD name back to my original choice. Just follow your heart and go with it
