Dh suggested Leonard last night.
What do you think? Lenny is quite cute i think, but not sure I would like to risk Leo for a nn as I do not like it.

Leonard is mine and my DH's favourite boy's name. If we have a boy he will definitely be Leonard as it's the only one we can agree on. Lenny is a great nickname and we have also thought of Ned as a nn. Go for it!

I'm a bit torn: I LOVE Leonard Cohen, so want to name my son Leonard after him (with Lenny for short); I love the meaning "strong like a lion", but I'm not sure whether he will get teased by others who think its a geek's name and do not appreciate the genius that is Leonard Cohen...

My first son is named Dylan, after Bob Dylan, but the name Dylan is much more common, so not likely to get too much bother over it.
