...but all my 'chosen' names were girls!!! Not sure why, I just found it easier to choose a girls name.

Now I know what I'm having, everyone keeps asking what I'm going to call him - with the best will in the world, I'm just drawing a blank!

Can anyone suggest something nice that goes well with the surname Edwards? I really struggle with the 'E' because it can be a bit of a stumbling block when you say it out loud.

Any thoughts? Hmm

I think it goes nicely with the disciple names!
Matthew Edwards
Mark Edwards
Luke Edwards
John Edwards

Or Sam Edwards

Welcome to blue team!

I just had to google that one!!!!!

I think Ed Edwards reminds me of Eddie 'the Eagle Edwards' :o(

what kind of names do you like?
traditional? unusual? inbetween?

what kind of girls names would you have gone for?

Teds77 · 04/11/2010 19:07

Anything but Edward Grin which is one of my favourite names but sadly I'll never be able to use.

I think it goes with most things?

bundlebelly · 04/11/2010 19:10

Applemuncher I have to ask, are you cakemuncher being good?!

Applemuncher · 04/11/2010 19:16

Bundlebelly - yes - but my halo slips every day I'm afraid!!! Grin

I wanted a name that was a bit unusual but my girls names (that changed every day) were:

Sophia
Penny
Olivia

Couldn't settle on any of them though.

Manda25 · 04/11/2010 19:19

Toby !!!!

Applemuncher · 04/11/2010 20:42

In a sudden flash of inspiration, we've decided to call him Harry - it was my Grandad and Uncles name and my Husbands Grandad too (common name - not the same Grandfather - obviously!)

Yay!!!

Arf.

Having seen your girls' options, I was going to suggest you like popular but traditional names. I was going to suggest you would probably like Jack or Harry.

But then I read the rest of the thread...
