2 friends have had Elizabeths this week and we were discussing all the diminutives and the amount of choice they / their DDs will have on that front. We came up with the following list:

Liz
Lizzie /Lizzie
Libby / Libbie
Lily / Lilly / Lili
Ellie
Ella
Elle
Betty
Betsy
Bet
Beth
Liza
Lilibet (Gawd save 'er)
Elza

I have an Elizabeth,and we always call her that.
No doubt it will get shortened soon enough.
Ilike Lizzie,Libby.

I know two more Elizabeths who are known as Lilla and Lit.

Elizabeth is one of the best girl's names ever imo.
