Beatrice Amelia seems to roll off the tongue more easily

yummymummie1 · 01/11/2010 14:41

Amelia or Olivia

christabell · 01/11/2010 14:48

Olivia or Elizabeth flow best.

weepootle · 01/11/2010 14:49

Amelia

christabell · 01/11/2010 15:07

Elizabeth or Olivia flow best. Do any of them have special meanings? I think it is nice for a middle name to mean something or be after someone in particular.

HecateQueenOfWitches · 01/11/2010 15:09

Beatrice Olivia sounds good, so does Beatrice Amelia
Beatrice Lilly is ok
Beatrice Elizabeth is ok
Beatrice Sophia runs together and doesn't work. said together it sort of goes Beatri-sophia.

My personal favourite of the options is Beatrice Amelia

Of your suggestions, Beatrice Olivia and Beatrice Amelia flow the best.

Other suggestions:

Beatrice Juliet
Beatrice Mary
Beatrice Rebecca

mathanxiety · 01/11/2010 15:53

Beatrice Elizabeth

notagrannyyet · 01/11/2010 16:09

Beatrice Amelia is lovely. So is Beatrice Olivia.....but that makes her initials B O, so I would probably not chose that.

clarabellarocks · 01/11/2010 20:55

Didn't think of the BO thing - thanks! Mmm, leaning towards Beatrice Amelia. Quite liked the idea of a flower middle name (DD mn is rose) but maybe a bit twee and not many go with it.

Elizabeth definitely . Great name for a middle name as never shortened

Greenwing · 01/11/2010 22:24

Elizabeth definitely - classic and less 'in fashion' than the others.

HecateQueenOfWitches · 02/11/2010 07:22

elizabeth is never shortened?

liz
lizzie
liza
beth
betty
Grin

lilly13 · 02/11/2010 08:24

Amelia or Olivia

NotanOtter · 02/11/2010 21:02

Hecate - not as a middle name its not !

HecateQueenOfWitches · 02/11/2010 21:40

Well, no, I suppose they don't Grin. Does anyone ever shorten any middle name? I suppose name shortening is a first name thing?

NotanOtter · 02/11/2010 22:17

Wink the things you learn.....!

Tidey · 02/11/2010 22:20

Wasn't there an actress called Beatrice Lillie? I like Beatrice Amelia best out of your choices.
