Love it.

natto · 31/10/2010 21:11

I love it. It's my sister's name, as far as I know she always liked it. It's very international and easy to spell/pronounce yet not at all popular for some unknown reason.

nina09 · 31/10/2010 21:13

Well I like it! I did have the siren jokes when I was younger but it really wasn't a big deal. I like the fact you don't meet too many other people with the same name but it's not so "out there" that people don't know how to spell it etc

BikeRunScream · 31/10/2010 21:23

Was my girl's name alternative for DS.

Komondor · 01/11/2010 15:36

I know a Nina, its her nickname, actual name is Karena.

Like Nina, love Karena

merrymonsters · 01/11/2010 23:29

I know a Nina, but her full name is Antonina (she's Italian).

I think it's a nice name and not too popular.

DandyDan · 02/11/2010 08:59

I know a 10 yr old Nina. It's an unusual name and attractive (and I always think Nina Pretty Ballerina, from Abba).

321sanitygone · 02/11/2010 09:10

I really like the name Nina. The only 'problem' with it for me is I feel like it should be short for something. Don't know why

fedupofnamechanging · 03/11/2010 14:53

I love it. It makes me think of a glamourous woman. It's also quite unusual, which is also nice

mathanxiety · 03/11/2010 16:29
, and Nina Persson spring to mind, so Sweden in general Smile. I love it, but I think it suits a girl who is petite, and I don't know how it ages
ZuzuandZara · 04/11/2010 00:40

My sil is Nerina, nn Nina. Nice, unusual, only met 2 in my life, other one was american.

bruffin · 04/11/2010 00:58

My aunty Nina full name is Katarina

smother · 04/11/2010 22:31

Simone.
But what a fantastic association that is!

Jojay · 04/11/2010 22:34

I love it. Its the name of my imaginary future DD Grin

PompeyDot · 05/11/2010 09:48

Makes me think of Ian Dury's song "Billericay Dickie" and his affair with Nina in the Cortina, who screamed like a hyena.

pissedrightoff · 10/11/2010 23:25

Smother That's exactly who inspired my choice Grin

Dagnammit- scan just revealed I'm having a boy, so no Nina for me.

(Disclaimer-I am delighted I am having a boy, my next cat/hamster/goldfish shall be called Nina)

A moot point now, but love Nina :).

Congratulations on your baby boy!

lowrib · 14/12/2010 05:44
