middle name for imogen

finally decided on Imogen to be our dd's name (due in february) but im stuck on middle names. DS has a middle name so we'd like DD to have one too.

cant use the names - Rose, Elspeth, Anne, Susan

any suggestions?

my own middle name is louise :) my best friend is a louise and it would be nice to use her name for my dd iykwim

would that be too wierd? with me being ..... louise and my dd being imogen louise?

not weird to pass on middle names - many families do that as a tradition.

I don't think it is odd passing on middle names, but then I have done it- my middle name is Elizabeth, as is dd1's . Coincidentally, it is also my mils middle name, but i didn't know that at the time.

And i have just given DD2 the middle name Imogen, so obviously love that.

I like Louise a lot- was a popular middle name in the 70's but is not heard so much now. Goes really well with Imogen, I think.

I wanted to call dd2 Imogen (dh vetoed) and her middle name is Florence, and would have been Florence had I got my way with Imogen.

We have a two syllable surname too.

Pllleeaaaaaase call her Imogen Florence, a little Imogen Florence in the world would make me very happy (no pressure )

For inspiration have you tried checking out the daily telegraph birth announcements? You can search just for Imogen and see what middle names they have picked! I've tried that one before and it's a bit addictive and slightly voyeristic!

I have an Imogen Charlotte, still love it as much as when we decided on it!

I would have either Imogen Violet or Imogen Eliza.

I have an Imogen Grace and we really like it. We can never find things with her name on though. But they do change which names they do from time to time.

I have an Imogen Elizabeth with a two-syllable surname. Quite a mouthful but I love it!
