...Felix? Due tomorrow and still not certain.
Other suggestions welcome. I love Felix but DP bit worried about cat food connotations. I'm not though...

I love the name Felix and if you really like it you should go for it.

That said we have ruled it out because of the cat connection.

minipie · 25/10/2010 14:51

I love both Leo and Felix but the two together might sound like you have a bit of a cat obsession ... since Leo = lion and Felix = feline (and cat food).

For similar-ish names, how about

Max
Alex
Lucas
Milo

CuriousAlys · 25/10/2010 14:58

Thanks for the encouragement Stars Smile
Minipie, I love all of those, especially Milo, but dp says no. The others have all been taken by friends. And we sort of do have a cat obsession, although that's not the reason for the name choices!!Grin

Rupert goes well with Leo

I can't get past the cat thing with Felix, so wouldn't use it myself.

CuriousAlys · 25/10/2010 15:05

Like Rupert too, but name of horrible uncle

Marcus and Leo

Flossiebelle · 25/10/2010 21:26

What about Xander? I love the name Felix and Xander and Kasper are my other favourites Smile

BelligerentGhoul · 25/10/2010 21:28

Rupert is lovely.

I really like Robin as well and that sounds nice with Leo.

I'm not fond of Felix.

Leo and James
Leo and Edward
Leo and Toby
Leo and David
Leo and Monty
Leo and Nathaniel
Leo and Sebastian

Felix is a brand of cat food in my mind and I agree the combination with Leo is too 'catish'.

Rupert is great, as is Quentin and Marcus.

LaDiDevilDiDie · 25/10/2010 22:47

Too catty with Leo

I know of a Leo and Finlay.

Jacob
Henry
Francis
Vincent

jumpyjack · 25/10/2010 22:50

Agree - too many cats.

I love Leo. What about Leo and Edwin? Or Frances?

Ohh, I have a Theo and a Felix, very similar to Leo and Felix!

Fourleaf · 27/10/2010 13:23

Nah, Leo and Felix bit too trendy together (runs and hides). I have a Leo and am planning to go for something either v. classic or unusual for DC2. A longer name would be nice too. I like BelligerentGhoul's suggestions - may use one myself :)

FindingMymOOOOOOOOjo · 27/10/2010 13:38

I love Felix - is it really trendy now??? please nooooooo - if this baby is a boy I really want to call it Felix Peter - dashing off to check baby names 2009

Fourleaf · 27/10/2010 14:06

Just checked (time on my hands today it seems Blush) and Felix is actually only no 122. However, I have met LOADS of babies called Felix recently... I think it's defo 'on the up' but not exactly mega popular... yet Wink

Fourleaf · 27/10/2010 14:07

When I say loads I mean, ahem, about 3 :)

CuriousAlys · 27/10/2010 15:54

Thanks all. What ever his name is, I wish he'd hurry up!
