Baby due any time - please help us decide

Hi everyone
I've got one week left and still undecided on boys names -please help!
We have two boys already ds1 has surname name (which I know is not particularly popular on here) ds2 has old testament name which mumsnetters seem to love.
Anyway this is our list please let us know which you like best, surname is one syllable beginning with F and middle name will be Peter
Riley
Mitchell
Levi
Ashton
Leon
Dylan

If it's a girl it will be Francesca or lola

Ashton is my favourite. These are my thoughts on the others:

Riley (often used as a girl's name, might cause some confusion)
Mitchell (OK)
Levi (OK)
Leon (quite like this)
Dylan (drippy).

Don't like Francesca much. I like Lola, or is that Iola beginning with an 'i'?

Levi - IMO only use if you are religious sorts, though you say OT name for DS2, but then looks like DS1 is the odd one out?

I don't like the others sorry, also (as an ex-teacher) lots of them scream 'naughty boy', Ashton, Mitchell, Leon...sorry!

Francesca is lovely, Lola is ok, Iola is a tricky one, as everyone will think it's Lola to start with. And hard to say, but that's probably just me.

Hope for a girl-I only like Francesca!

Then I vote for 'Lola'! Actually, it's on my list also. I think it is a very cool name.

I like Mitchell, and I think a longer name balances out a short last name, good luck!

I like either girls name and Mitchell is my favourite of your boy names.

Prefer Francesca to Lola by a mile.

Out of your boys names Levi and Leon are ok and I don't like any of the others.

Quite like all the boys names apart from Levi, Leon and Riley are probably favourites. I would be careful with Mitchell, as a full name it will sound good, particularly with a short surname, but you will also have to like Mitch, which he will inevitably get called by someone.

Love both Francesca and Lola though - why are girls so much easier to pick names for?

I like Ashton most, but have you thought about Asher? It is both surnamey and also a solid Old Testament name (one of the tribes of Israel, although I am v sketchy on the Bible, so could be wrong). Therefore it nicely links up the two names of your older boys.

Definitely Francesca for me.

I love Peter, why not use that as first name? Out of the others, Dylan and Leon.

I like Dylan and Leon. Don't like any of the other boys' names at all, sorry.

Can you live with Franny? I had a lovely friend who was supposed to be Francesca but was Fran or Franny to her friends, always. I like Francesca (and the shortened versions) best.

Lola was a showgirl? I'm afraid I do hum that whenever I think of a Lola. But it could be just my age ?

Dylan for the boy's name. But I'd also give my vote to Peter as first name. (We would have gone for this, but it's DH's name.)

Leon or Francesca.

Francesca is lovely. Lots of great nn potential frankie, chess, cessi, great choice.

thanks everyone. I realise my name choices are not to everybodies taste but these are the only names we can even get close to agreeing on!
