Baby no 3 due soon. A boy!
We have 2 girls:- Beth (Bethan), Daisy..... and????

I love the idea of a one syllable name... nice and strong!

Will Long (Long Willy at school????)
Tom Long (is it too common?)
Nat Long (from Nathan...Nate or Nat)

any other suggestions?

And I'd avoid Alexander too, as he would be known as A Long (along Smile).

Hello I'm a Mrs Long (by marriage). Don't think we're related as I don't recognise your DDs' names. DD's initials spell out S.O. Long but what the heck. We have a couple of ALongs in the family too. I must admit we also went for two syllable names for the DCs. Good luck with whatever you choose.

Definatly a two syllable first name! (We too have a short one syllable surname) For example

Quentin Long
Magnus Long
Felix Long

sound lovely imo Smile.

p.s. you really cannot call him Will Long Grin.
