Do you think this is a nice name?

yes, pretty.

BessieBoots · 01/10/2010 09:55

Oooooh! That's lovely!

Tortoise · 01/10/2010 09:55

Yes, very nice.

TheGrumpalo · 01/10/2010 09:56

Not keen on Martha to be honest but Autumn is a lovely middle name.

DetectivePotato · 01/10/2010 10:15

Nope, sounds awful. Old fashioned name with modern name. Doesn't go.

Tillyscoutsmum · 01/10/2010 10:18

Absolutely love Martha......

The more I think about it, the more I like Autumn as well. I like unusual mn's that have some relevance (I'm assuming she would be an Autumn baby ?). Just not sure the two consecutive "A's" work very well ?? But then, they won't really get said together in day to day conversation so it probably doesn't matter

BuntyPenfold · 01/10/2010 10:29

Love Autumn.
I do think Martha is a bit dreary and worthy though.

cumbria81 · 01/10/2010 10:50

No.

Martha is OK but Autumn is just verging on horrid and the two together are a bit twee. IMHO.

LisMcA · 01/10/2010 10:53

Love Martha, but our surname rhymes with it so it's off our list!

Go for it!

Flossiebelle · 01/10/2010 10:54

Thanks for your feedback. What about Isabelle as a MN?

blametheparents · 01/10/2010 10:55

Martha Isabelle even nicer, goes together better as a combination.

TheNextMrsDepp · 01/10/2010 10:57

Martha is an absolutely beautiful name - my cousin is a Martha, but she's in her late 20s so it was quite unusual then.

Both middle names nice. You can afford to be more daring with a middle name, after all.

LisMcA · 01/10/2010 11:14

Isabelle is on our list. Flossie Great minds think alike obviously!!

DetectivePotato · 01/10/2010 18:42

Isabelle is a nice name. Still doesn't go with Martha though.

Acanthus · 01/10/2010 18:47

It will be pronounced MarthaRIsabelle. But it's still nice. Nicer than Autumn.

Flossiebelle · 02/10/2010 22:21

Thanks for all you feedback. We ended up going for Martha Felicity-Rose in the end. Middle name has strong links to a close family member. Thanks again Smile
