One of my neightbours children, who is about 14 years old says that there is a boy in her class named Passion and a girl in the year below her named Pebbles.

Just when you think you've heard everything! Would anyone go for names like that here?!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Depends on where the children come from I think. We used to call our dd bambam (as a nickname) because she looked like her. The child called Passion may have religous parents, the Pebbles one could be a nickname that the child in question prefers to its own name.

I know an absolutly massive (6ft+, built like a brick house) african guy called ... Promise.

It suits him so much and I love it.

So I think Passion could work, and as for Pebbles, well erm, I dunno, their baby, their choice.

There is a Pebbles at the nursery where my friend works. I can't believe there is more than 1. Passion is an awful name too.

Whats wrong with 'normal' names. (and Promise isn't one of them).

There was a young lady of dubious employment (let's just say she worked from her bedroom home) in our street last year called Pebbles.

It was her actual name too rather than a work alias iyswim Grin.
