Celeste

Just out of curiosity, what is your opinion on the name celeste? I am considering it as a middle name to go with first name Martha [smile}

]

Personally, i don't think it sounds too good. And reminds me of Daphne and Celeste. Don't know if that's a good thing or not...

But maybe it works better with Martha, was there any particular reason you choose it, or just liked the sound of it?

I just like tha sound of Martha Celeste and I like the meaning behind the name Celeste which means 'Heavenly'.

Sounds a bit too much like Marie Celeste to me..... Although how often do you say the middle name anyway I always think.

I have a Celeste She's lovely. I'm obviously biased but it is a fantastic name! I would suggest you avoid it if anyone in your family or friends has a lisp, though. "Thelesthhe" doesn't sound quite as glamorous.

BUT the overall majority seems to think that it is rather pretty.

I think it is one of the prefect name out there, of course!

PS: not sure of the combo Martha Celeste...
