( First Post!) We are thinking Anna / Annabel with a nn Annie what do you think

I really like Anna and wouldn't bother with the nn annie.

I have Rose and Annie! (and Florence) I love Annie and have had many many lovely comments about her name and how well they 'go together'

Thanks for your posts - we are worried that Rose and Anna sound like two parts of the same name 'Roseanna' and Annabel sounds too fluffy after the simplicity of Rose. We love Annie but that may sound a bit nicknamey on its own

Well, how about something equally simple like Grace?

My first thought was Emily...probably because of The Zombies song, which is beautiful but depressing as all fuck.

When I hear Annie I either hear 'A knee' or I'm reminded of the musical, with that awful screechy voice...
It also does sound a bit nicknamey to me tbh. And I put it with names like 'Millie', names which aren't very strong sounding iyswim. (Sorry anyone with a Millie).
Just my opinions though..

love anna it was on my list before dp crossed it off and so is rose, u have good taste!!

Anne/Annabelle/Anna - all fine though.

Anna is a lovely name.
