Hi all Smile

Would really appreciate any thoughts on our potential baby names or suggestions- not sure whether we're having a girl or a boy

Some ideas so far:

Girls

Elodie
Poppy
Kashmir
Evelyn
Isabella
Sarai
Eliza
Matilda

Boys

Harry
Maximus
Noah
Elijah
Milo
Lennon
Finlay
Leo
Nathaniel
Edward

They probably seem abit 'random' but they're just names that I like!

I like Matilda and Lennon from your lists.

SirBoobAlot · 24/09/2010 21:13

Evelyn or Matilda.

Edward, Nathaniel, Leo or Elijah.

lola0109 · 24/09/2010 21:13

I like Evelyn and Matilda and from the boys I like Nathanial best, what about Jeremiah?

babybluebells · 24/09/2010 21:19

Jeremiah is nice Lola (as is Lola actually! )

Is Matilda popular now? I've always loved it

You've got some lovely choices there, but I have to ask - where the heck did Kashmir come from? It seems like the outlier. It does have a pretty sound but unfortunately to me the name screams "territorial dispute!"

I've always loved Sarai though!

ValiumSingleton · 26/09/2010 18:19

Really like Eliza from your girls list. Not crazy about the others.

From your boys list Leo or Edward. I prefer Leo but Edward is a good name.

thebrightside · 26/09/2010 18:27

Evelyn or Poppy from girls list. Unless Kashmir was where she was conceived I find it a really odd choice.
Finlay, Harry, Nathaniel or Leo for boys

jellyjelly · 26/09/2010 18:33

Maximus is a name of lube.

jellyjelly · 26/09/2010 18:34

I like elodie and edward.

babybluebells · 26/09/2010 19:25

Grin Kashmir was a relative's name, my husband didn't want to use it but I wanted to know if people liked it (obv just me, but may be my hormones tbh!)

I really really love Elodie but husband doesn't, but he is so picky it's unreal!

Does anyone have any other names I can suggest to him? I'm 6 months so abit of time yet but I need some inspiration!

I love the Led Zeppelin song 'Kashmir', actually used to know a girl named after the song and she was lovely

From your list I also love Lennon (but I am a big beatles fan) and Leo is really cute. Also Elodie, have never come across one before. Agree that Isabella is very popular now (but for a reason, is a very pretty name)

How about:

Anna
Alice
Grace/Gracie
Layla

Jacob
Oliver
Alexander
Caleb
